About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Finance Manager to support our financial operations at Tootle. The ideal candidate will assist in managing financial planning, reporting, cash flow management, and budgeting, ensuring the smooth execution of day-to-day financial activities. This role involves collaboration across departments and requires both operational efficiency and analytical insight to maintain the financial health of the company.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Reporting:
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring financial targets align with company goals.
Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
Accounts Management:
Supervise accounts receivable and payable activities.
Ensure timely invoicing and reconciliation of financial statements.
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions in compliance with local regulations.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management:
Monitor daily cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity.
Assist in the management of rider payout requests and delivery transactions.
Manage petty cash and ensure proper documentation for all cash movements.
Compliance & Internal Control:
Assist in ensuring compliance with tax regulations and other statutory requirements.
Support the preparation of documents for audits and regulatory reporting.
Implement and maintain financial control processes to mitigate risks.
Team Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with the finance team, operations, and other departments to ensure financial alignment.
Provide necessary financial reports and updates to senior management.
Mentor and assist junior finance staff as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s degree or professional certifications such as ACCA, CA preferred).
At least 2-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and local tax regulations.
Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
