About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Mid-Quality Assurance Engineer with a background in development to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through the development and execution of comprehensive test plans. As a Mid-Level QA Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address software defects, contribute to test automation efforts, and play a crucial role in delivering high-quality software solutions.
Requirements
Responsibilities :
Develop and implement effective test plans and strategies to ensure smooth product releases.
Perform both manual and automated testing to identify issues in the platform's functionalities.
Document, report, and track defects using tools such as Jira or Trello. Collaborate closely with developers to resolve issues.
Conduct regression tests to ensure code changes do not affect existing functionalities. Perform load and performance testing when necessary.
Test API endpoints to ensure smooth interaction between backend services.
Work closely with product managers, developers, and the support team to identify issues, prioritize fixes, and ensure on-time delivery of product updates.
Analyze customer feedback for recurring issues and ensure they are addressed in subsequent releases.
Maintain and update QA documentation, including test cases and processes, to support efficient testing cycles.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including integration specifications, user manuals, and technical documentation
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
2-4 years of experience in software testing (manual and automated).
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience working with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium or Cypress.
Solid understanding of API testing (Postman or equivalent tools).
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in testing mobile applications.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Basic understanding of SQL queries for data validation.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
