QA Engineer/ Project Manager

Responsibilities :

• Quality Assurance:

  • Develop and implement effective test plans and strategies to ensure smooth product releases.

  • Perform both manual and automated testing to identify issues in the platform's functionalities.

  • Document, report, and track defects using tools such as Jira or Trello. Collaborate closely with developers to resolve issues.

  • Conduct regression tests to ensure code changes do not affect existing functionalities. Perform load and performance testing when necessary.

  • Test API endpoints to ensure smooth interaction between backend services.

  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and the support team to identify issues, prioritize fixes, and ensure on-time delivery of product updates.

  • Analyze customer feedback for recurring issues and ensure they are addressed in subsequent releases.

  • Maintain and update QA documentation, including test cases and processes, to support efficient testing cycles.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including integration specifications, user manuals, and technical documentation

  Project Management:

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee project lifecycles from initiation to delivery.

  • Define project objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and smooth communication across QA, development, and design teams.

  • Identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.

  • Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to maintain Agile workflows.

  • Ensure timely and clear communication of project progress, challenges, and outcomes to stakeholders and management.

  • Track and report on project KPIs, ensuring alignment with company goals.

  • Document and manage project requirements, ensuring clarity and traceability throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

• 2-3 years of experience in software testing (manual and automated).

• 1+ years of experience in project management or leading software development projects.

• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Slack) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Postman.

• Solid understanding of software development processes and version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in testing mobile applications.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Basic understanding of SQL queries for data validation.

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
